Mount St. Mary’s Announces Updated Guidelines for Home Games

EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 19, 2022) – Continuing to monitor guidelines and help mitigate the transmission of COVID-19, Mount St. Mary's has updated its policies for home games, beginning with the men's basketball game against Sacred Heart on January 21st.
  • Mount Club will NOT take place at Knott Arena and has instead moved to pre-game festivities at the Carriage House Inn, 200 S Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg. Doors open for Mount Club 2 ½ hours before and close 30 minutes prior to tip-off.
  • Mask requirements by Frederick County mandate at all times in any indoor space remain in effect. Failure to comply will result in a verbal warning the first time and removal from the arena for subsequent violations.
  • Concession/alcohol sales will not be available in Knott Arena.
  • Courtside seating has been reinstated.
Mount St. Mary's University continues to monitor conditions closely and reserve the right to adjust our COVID-19 protocols as needed to maintain the health and safety of our community.
We thank you for your patience and understanding in following these guidelines during this unprecedented time.
