EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 29, 2021) – Mount St. Mary's men's soccer prepares for its longest homestand of the season. The first match features Central Connecticut State coming to Emmitsburg for a Thursday afternoon contest.  

MOUNT UPDATE

The Mount is seeking their first Northeast Conference win in their second try. Marcus Lewis scored off a set piece rebound against Bryant, but the Bulldogs scored three times to take the victory last Sunday.

Alek Wroblewski continues to lead in points with seven. Lewis joins Juan Molina and Jesus Salazar for the second-most with three.

ABOUT CENTRAL CONNECTICUT  

CCSU is one of two teams in the NEC to not register a win so far, and the lone team to not earn a draw. The Blue Devils have scored three goals this year, with Austin Rocke responsible for two of them.

In their conference opener, Central fell 1-0 to the Long Island Sharks.

ALL-TIME SERIES

Central Connecticut holds a slight 9-8-1 advantage in the series. Last year provided the first draw between the teams, with a 2-2 tie last March 1st.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE

Reigning NEC Champion St. Francis Brooklyn comes to Emmitsburg Sunday (Oct. 3) for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
