EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 26, 2021) – Seniors Michaila Cheung and Olivia Gardenhour were the top-performing Mountaineers at the Bucknell Invitational after shooting a 257 (+47) to finish tied for 51st place. The Mount St. Mary's women's golf team finished in 11th place after shooting a combined score of 1068 (+228).
 
Navy wins the team competition after shooting a combined score of 885 (+45), while Navy's Mara Hirtle and Howard's Reese Wilson win the player competition, shooting a total score of 218 (+8).
 
Junior Taylor Woodward finished in 63rd place after shooting a total score of 280 (+70), while senior Olivia Block shot a score of 286 (+76) to finish in 65th place. Sophomore Suzanna Martin rounded out the Mountaineers shooting an 88 (+18) in the final round.
 
The Mount heads to Annapolis, Md., to compete in the Navy Fall Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Club on October 1-3.
