Michaila Cheung Sits Tied for 37th Place after the First Day at the Bucknell Invitational

EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 25, 2021) – Senior Michaila Cheung was the top-performing Mountaineer in the first two rounds of the Bucknell Invitational after shooting a 165 (+25) to sit tied for 37th place. The Mount St. Mary's women's golf team sits in 11th place after shooting a combined score of 711 (+151).
 
Navy leads the team leaderboard after 36 holes shooting a combined score of 582 (+22), while Navy's Tori Smith leads the player leaderboard after the first day of competition, shooting a two-round score of 143 (+3).
 
Senior Olivia Gardenhour sits tied for 46th place after shooting a total score of 170 (+30), while junior Taylor Woodward sits in 63rd place after shooting a first-day total of 187 (+47).  Senior Olivia Block shots a total score of 196 (+56) to be tied for 65th place after the first day, with sophomore Suzanna Martin in 68th place after shooting a 91 (+21) in one round.
 
The Mount wraps up the Bucknell Invitational tomorrow, teeing off at 9:00 a.m.
