MOUNT UPDATE
After the 5-1 loss against Long Island University, the Mount's record becomes 3-14. The Mount has a chance to end their season on a high note this Sunday against FDU.
Cavan Fernandes earned his first collegiate goal in the 85
th minute against the Sharks, making him the second freshman to score a goal in the season, joining
Marcus Lewis. Having a total of 10 goals this season, the Mount looks to add to that total against the Knights.
SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS
Fighting against LIU for second place in the Northeast Conference, the Knights look to lead goal scorer Diego Arribas to help get them there. FDU got the upper hand against teams such as Saint Francis U, Merrimack, and most recently the Sharks. Considering that all those teams have taken down the Mount, the Knights hope to add their names to that list.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES
The previous three matches between these two teams have either ended in a victory for the Knights or a tie. FDU holds the advantage over the Mount with a record of 7-6-3. After the 2020 contest between these two teams was canceled, the long-awaited rematch unfolds Sunday.
