COMPLETE RESULTS

Annapolis, Md. (October 1, 2021)—The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team rounded out competition at the ITA Region Championships hosted by the US Naval Academy at the Brigade Sports Complex.

The Mount had four athletes compete in the consolation round today with Shirley Liang posting a win over Ireland Amato of Saint Joseph's, 5-7, 6-1, 10-3.  Liang did not play in the next round of consolations.

Adriana Barney fell to Jordan Grayson of Howard, 6-0, 6-1, while Riya Mathur was edged by George Washington's Alexandra Vesikallio, 6-4, 4-6, 10-3.  Amber Policare withdrew from her match.

The Mount women's tennis teams return to the court on October 15-17 at the Towson Invitational.
