EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 24, 2021) – The die was cast for Mount St. Mary's 20 seconds in against Merrimack. Following that first goal, the Warriors rode the momentum and defeated the Mountaineers Sunday in North Andover.
Led by
Jack Shearer with three tries, the Mount fired nine shots. Four players made up the shot count, including
Jesus Salazar who placed both his attempts on goal.
Adam Siviter registered seven saves but was saddled with the loss.
Frantz Perriot scored for Merrimack on the opening possession, taking advantage of a loose ball in the box. The Warriors added three more goals in the first half and another three in the second half.
Mount St. Mary's aims for a winning record at home with two final matches. The Mountaineers will host Long Island next Sunday (Oct.31) and Fairleigh Dickinson November 7
th.
