After the First Day at the Navy Fall Invitational, Women’s Golf sits in 13th Place

EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 2, 2021) – Senior Michaila Cheung was the top-performing Mountaineer in the first round of the Navy Fall Invitational after shooting an 86 (+14) to sit tied for 61st place. The Mount St. Mary's women's golf team sits in 13th place after shooting a combined score of 364 (+76).
 
Richmond leads the team leaderboard after 18 holes shooting a combined score of 304 (+16), while Delaware State's Nattavadee Khunsri leads the player leaderboard after the first day of competition, shooting a score of 67 (-5).
 
Senior Olivia Gardenhour sits tied for 67th place after shooting a score of 88 (+16), while senior Olivia Block shoots a 92 to sit in 71st place. Junior Taylor Woodward sits in 72nd place after shooting a first-day total of 98 (+26). Sophomore Suzanna Martin wraps up the Mountaineers in 75th place after shooting a 103 (+31).
 
The Mount wraps up the Navy Fall Invitational tomorrow, teeing off at 8:30 a.m.
