DOUGLASSVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 3, 2020) - Mount St. Mary's bowling improved to 59-30 on the season with their second straight 4-1 day at Molloy College's Bowl for the Cure on Sunday (Feb. 2). The team started out 4-0 before falling to Adelphi in the final match during Sunday's Baker play. 

Danielle Milo was instrumental in the Mount's success, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team. 

#13 Mount 911 | Coppin State 876 

In their third meeting this season, Mount battled Coppin State all the way to the final frames. There the Mountaineers grinded out a 35-pin victory to improve to 7-1 all-time against the Eagles and 3-0 this season. 

#13 Mount 931 | Molloy 900

Next up was the host school, and once again, the Mount found itself challenged. But a 931 showing was enough to overcome the strong showing by the Lions, taking the contest by 31 pins.  

#13 Mount 1006 | #24 Wilmington 944

Sunday's finest moment came here, as the Mountaineers matched their second best total of the weekend. Rolling the 1,006 was critical in taking down their foes from Wilmington, who had defeated the Mount in three prior meetings this season, including the championship match at the Virginia Union Invitational.  

#13 Mount 972 | Felician 843

Mount St. Mary's continued their pace against the Golden Falcons. Their 129 pin margin was the third-best for the Mount on the weekend and set their eyes on a third straight tournament win.  

#13 Mount 796 | #21 Adelphi 975 

The chance for a third straight tournament triumph went out the window as the Mountaineers once again faced Adelphi in the final series. A solid effort by the Panthers would've made things tough in the first place, but Mount's 796 triggered a slide of three positions in the tournament standings. 

Mount St. Mary's will be idle from competition this weekend, before traveling to Morgan State's James Brown Invitational from Feb. 15-17.
