  • Mount St. Mary's lost at Robert Morris, 68-60, in a hard-fought game on Friday night.  The Mountaineers have lost five in a row to fall to 10-18 overall and 6-9 in the Northeast Conference.  The Mount is in a four-way tie for sixth place in the NEC standings.  Jalen Gibbs led the Mount with 19 points, hitting 5-of-8 from three-point range, in the loss at Robert Morris.  Vado Morse tied the score at 57-57 with a three-pointer, but a long Jon Williams three-pointer as the shot clock was expiring broke the deadlock with 2:36 left.  Josh Williams hit another three-pointer to give RMU a 64-59 lead with 1:02 on the clock.
  • Jalen Gibbs scored 14 of his team-high 19 points in the first half of the Mount's 68-60 loss at Robert Morris.  It is the 12th time this season that Gibbs has scored 15 or more in a game.  Gibbs is 10-of-20 (.500) from three-point range over the past three games, and is now shooting 34.1 percent from beyond the arc this season.
  • Vado Morse has reached double figures in four of his past five games.  Morse is averaging 11.7 points in NEC play this year, shooting 34.1 percent from three-point range and 84.8 percent at the foul line.  He has scored 20 or more on three occasions this season.
  • Malik Jefferson is shooting 62.9 percent (22-of-35) from the field over the past four games to break out of a shooting slump.  Jefferson had shot just 25.0 percent (9-of-36) over his previous six games.  Jefferson is shooting 55.8 percent from the field in his career, including 57.7 percent in his 33 career games against NEC opponents.
  • Nana Opoku has registered at least one blocked shot in each of the past nine games.  Opoku leads the Mount with 43 blocked shots this season for an average of 1.5 per game.  He has blocked three or more shots six times this season, including a season-best six against Central Connecticut.  He had a career-high nine blocks last season against Saint Francis U.
