ABOUT THE TEAM
The Mount women's tennis team wrapped up their fall season at the Temple Invitational on October 4-6. The Mountaineers posted a 1-2 record at the invitational with their lone win coming over La Salle. Alexa Quintanilla was able to post a singles victory and a doubles victory with Taylor Cook over the Explorers. Logan Lencheski, Mia Pittman, and Megan Smith also posted match wins to help the Mount top La Salle.
To end a strong fall season, Cook and Quintanilla qualified for the ITA Atlantic Regional Tournament hosted by Virginia Tech on October 25th. The pairing was dropped by a duo from George Mason 8-4 in the first round of the doubles bracket while Quintanilla also faced a tough singles match against Camille Favero from the University of Virginia. Favero was able to down Quintanilla 6-2, 6-3.
ALL-TIME AGAINST DUQUESNE
The Dukes currently hold a 4-2 record over the Mountaineers in a series that dates back to 1993. Last season, Duquesne took down the Mount 4-0 where the Mountaineers were unable to grab a set. The Mount's two wins in this head-to-head series came in the first two matchups against the Dukes in 1993 and 1994. Duquesne has won four straight matchups over the Mountaineers in the all-time series.

The Mount women's tennis team will have two weeks off before heading to Annapolis, Maryland to take the Midshipmen of Navy on February 15th.
