ABOUT THE INVITATIONAL
The invitational is a 'Point of the Compass' format, with each team consisting of two players and each round consisting of a doubles match and two singles matches. The winner of the best-of-three advances to the next round.

MOUNT UPDATE
All three Mountaineer doubles pairings fell in the consolation quarterfinals on Saturday. Katie Schisler and Karen Anderson fell to the doubles pairing of Alexa Cooke and Melanie Sparhawk from Lafayette 2-1. The Mount pairing were defeated in the doubles match 6-1. Megan Smith and Logan Lencheski were dropped 2-1 by Lafayette's team of Jessica Siegal and Maureen McCormack. Smith and Lencheski were able to win the doubles match 6-2 but failed to win the two singles matches. Hannah Davis and Mia Pittman lost to Loyola's pairing of Abby Decker Sandra Aguirre 3-0.
