- Mount St. Mary's put together a gritty performance in the Mount's 56-46 loss at No. 20 Washington on Tuesday night. The game was tied, 21-21, at the half, and the Mount held a 34-33 lead midway through the second half before the Huskies were able to make enough plays down the stretch to earn the win. Vado Morse paced the Mount with 10 points while Damian Chong Qui and Naim Miller added nine each. Malik Jefferson pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds, his second consecutive double-figure effort on the boards.
- This is the first-ever meeting between the Mount and Lamar. The Mountaineers are 1-0 all-time against Southland Conference teams, posting a 67-66 victory over New Orleans in the First Round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament in Dayton, Ohio.
- Sophomore forward Malik Jefferson pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds in the loss at No. 20 Washington on Tuesday night. It is the second consecutive double-figure rebound game for Jefferson, who notched his fourth career double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds in the previous game, a 75-58 win over Gettysburg. Jefferson leads the Mount with 10.0 rebounds per game this season while chipping in 8.7 points.
- Up next, the Mountaineers continue their road trip with games at UAB (Wed., Nov. 20) and Kentucky (Fri., Nov. 22) next week.
