MOUNT UPDATE
The Mount men's soccer team has dropped three straight road matchups after being blanked 2-0 by Bryant and 3-0 by Merrimack this past weekend. A strong second half push from the Bulldogs saw them cash in two goals to defeat the Mountaineers on Friday night. The Mount was outshot 9-0 in shots on goal throughout the contest. The leader in the Northeast Conference, Merrimack, used an overall dominant performance to defeat the Mountaineers 3-0 on Sunday. The Warriors got on the board in the 23rd minute and never looked back before adding two more goals in the second half. The two losses drops the Mountaineers to 2-4 in Northeast Conference play which has them sitting six points outside the fourth playoff spot.
