ABOUT THE MOUNT MEN
Mateo DeSomocurcio won in the first flight of singles action and Jean Armstrong won in the sixth flight but Mount St. Mary's was downed by Fairleigh Dickinson 5-2 on Sunday afternoon. The Knights took the point advantage from doubles competition with victories in the first two flights. Wortkotter/Tonon picked up another doubles flight win in the third flight giving them a record of 7-3 together. DeSomocurcio started singles action strong for the Mount and Armstrong ended it strong but the Knights won the four flights in between them to take control of the match which led to the victory.

ABOUT THE MOUNT WOMEN
Erin Benefiel won flight four in two sets and Emma Blake won flight six in two sets but Mount St. Mary's fell to Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday afternoon. The Knights recorded the point advantage from doubles action when they won the first two flights to take the early lead. Hannah Davis and Kelly Smith won the third flight for the Mount giving them five doubles victories together on the season. FDU won the first three flights in singles competition that put the match away early and added another flight victory in the fifth flight. Benefiel and Blake earned the only two points in the match for the Mountaineers by winning the fourth and sixth flights.
