Emmitsburg, Md. (April 2, 2017) - Erin Benefiel won flight four in two sets and Emma Blake won flight six in two sets but Mount St. Mary's fell to Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday afternoon.
The Knights recorded the point advantage from doubles action when they won the first two flights to take the early lead. Hannah Davis and Kelly Smith won the third flight for the Mount giving them five doubles victories together on the season.
FDU won the first three flights in singles competition that put the match away early and added another flight victory in the fifth flight. Benefiel and Blake earned the only two points in the match for the Mountaineers by winning the fourth and sixth flights.
The Mount travels to Loyola on Wednesday, April 5 for a match at 3:30pm.
