1. Mount St. Mary's cruised to a 70-49 win over Robert Morris on Thursday night at Knott Arena. BK Ashe led four players in double figures with 19 points. Will Miller added 14 points, Junior Robinson 11 and Chris Wray 10 in the victory. The Mount raced to a 24-8 lead midway through the first half to take control of the game. Leading by nine at the break, the Mountaineers opened the second half with seven unanswered points, and led by double figures the remainder of the game. The Mount forced the Colonials into 20 turnovers in the game.
2. Mount St. Mary's has reached the halfway point of the Northeast Conference season with a 7-2 league record. It is the Mount's best record at the midpoint of the league schedule since the 1995-96 team also had a 7-2 mark.
3. Sophomore forward Chris Wray is averaging 12.0 points and 5.0 rebounds over the past two games. Wray is 12-of-14 (.857) from the field over that stretch. He leads the Northeast Conference in field goal percentage (.640) in league games this season.
4. Junior forward Will Miller hit 4-of-7 from three-point range in the Mount's 70-49 win over Robert Morris on Thursday. Miller is 21-of-39 (.538) from three-point range in NEC games, the top mark in the league.
5. The Mountaineers head back on the road for a two-game trip to New York City. The Mount faces LIU Brooklyn on Thursday and Wagner on Saturday.
