The Mount welcome rival Robert Morris to Knott Arena on Thursday night for a Northeast Conference showdown. The game will be aired live on the CBS Sports Network. The game is a "Blue Out" as the Mount fans are asked to show their Mount pride and wear blue to the game.
FIRST FIVE
1. Gregory Graves led five Mountaineers in double figures with a season-high 22 points in an 87-72 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday. The Mount used a 17-0 run to take an 18-2 lead early in the game. Mount St. Mary's led by double figures the rest of the way. Chris Wray and BK Ashe added 14 points each with Taylor Danaher chipping in 11 points and Elijah Long 10. The Mount scored 31 points off 24 FDU turnovers in the game.
2. Gregory Graves became the fifth Mount player to score 20 or more points in a game this year with his 22-point outing against FDU. BK Ashe, Charles Glover, Junior Robinson and Elijah Long also have 20-point games this season. The Mount has had eight different players score 14 or more points in a game this year as well.
3. The Mount's balance is even flows to the defensive end of the court. The Mount has six players with 20 or more steals this season, led by BK Ashe's 31.
4. Field goal percentage has been an indicator of Mount success under head coach Jamion Christian. The Mount is 34-7 when shooting 45 percent or better from the field under Christian, including 6-3 this season. When the Mount fails to shoot 45 percent, the team is 24-51 under Christian, including 3-9 this season.
5. The Mountaineers return to action on Saturday when Wagner visits Knott Arena for a 3:00 p.m. matchup. It is the Mount's Winter Homecoming game.
