1. The Mount is coming off an 82-72 win at Saint Francis University on Saturday afternoon. Gregory Graves led the Mountaineers with 18 points while Junior Robinson added 15 points and five assists. With the score tied at 53-53, Will Miller sparked a 9-0 Mount run with a four-point play, a three-pointer, and then a steal and assist on a Graves basket. The Mount shot 59.6 percent from the field in the victory, including 10-of-16 (.625) from three-point range.
2. The Mount swept its Western Pennsylvania road trip last weekend with wins at Robert Morris (76-52) and Saint Francis U (82-72). The last time the Mount swept that road trip was during the 1996-97 season.
3. Mount St. Mary's shot a season-high 59.6 percent from the field in the 82-72 win over Saint Francis U. That was the Mount's highest field goal percentage in a game since shooting 60.4 percent in the Mount's 88-71 win over Robert Morris in the NEC Championship game on March 11, 2014. The Mount is 33-6 under head coach Jamion Christian when shooting 45 percent or better in a game.
4. Mount St. Mary's is off to a 5-1 start in the Northeast Conference. The Mount last started 5-1 in the NEC in 2005-06, and has never started NEC play with a 6-1 mark.
5. Up next, the Mountaineers visit Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, January 23, at 4:30 p.m. FDU holds a 26-25 lead in the all-time series, but the Mount has won the past three matchups with the Knights.
