FIRST FIVE
1.  Mount St. Mary's suffered its first home loss of the season, 82-79, in double overtime to Bryant on Saturday.  The Mount held a 40-20 lead early in the second half, but the Bulldogs were able to rally to tie the game on a Shane McLaughlin lay-up with 0.8 seconds left.  The Mount led by four points in the final minute of the first overtime, but the Bulldogs were able to even the score again.  The Mount had a chance to win at the end of the 2nd overtime, but BK Ashe's three-pointer from the corner was off the mark.  Junior Robinson scored a season-high 20 points for the Mount in the game while Taylor Danaher chipped in 19 points.

2.  Taylor Danaher was a perfect 9-for-9 from the field in the Mount's 82-79 double-overtime loss to Bryant.   Earlier this season, Danaher went 7-for-7 from the floor against American.  The 7-0 center matched his career high of 19 points in each of those games.  It is just the sixth time in school history a player has gone 9-for-9 or better from the field in a game.

3.  The Mountaineers have gone to overtime in two of their past three games.  The Mount defeated St. Francis Brooklyn, 44-40, in overtime on Jan. 4 while Bryant posted an 82-79 double-overtime win over the Mount on Jan. 9.  The Mountaineers are 3-6 in overtime under head coach Jamion Christian.

4.  The Mount leads the NEC in league games in defensive efficiency (85.7) and defense turnover percentage (27.0) while the team is second in scoring defense (61.8) and three-point defense (28.3).  The Mountaineers have forced 77  turnovers in four conference games (19.3/game).

5. Up next, Mount St. Mary's travels to Loretto, Pa., to face Saint Francis U at noon on Saturday.  That game will air live on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN).
