MOUNT UPDATE: The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team wraps up its home schedule with a match versus Loyola on Wednesday at the Mount Tennis Courts. The Mount closes the regular season at George Mason on Sunday before heading to the Northeast Conference Tournament on April 17-19 in West Windsor, N.J.

LAST TIME OUT: The Mount could not navigate past a tough Saint Francis U squad, falling by a 7-0 final score on April 2 at The Club Sport and Health in Northeast Conference action. The Mountaineers had won four in a row entering the road match, but the Red Flash won all three doubles matches as well as the six singles matches on the day.

ABOUT LOYOLA: Coming off a 7-0 win over Rider on April 6, Loyola has won three of its last four matches entering Wednesday. The young Greyhound lineup includes two freshman and one sophomore for 36th-year Head Coach Rick McClure.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. LOYOLA: The Mountaineers, looking for their first win over the Greyhounds since 2010, carry an 8-11 mark versus Loyola since making the jump to Division I prior to the 1988-89 season. The Mount had won six in a row in the series before the Greyhounds took the last two matchups leading up to Wednesday's showdown.

HONORING THE SENIORS: For seniors Taylor D'Agostino, Danielle Nguyen and Jennifer Smith, Wednesday will mark the final home match of their Mount St. Mary's careers. D'Agostino has won 21 singles matches and 14 doubles matches, while Nguyen has posted 10 singles and 10 doubles victories this season to increase her totals to 26 singles and 17 doubles wins. Smith is the team's active wins leader with 37 in singles play to go with 30 in doubles action.

NORTHEAST CONFERENCE: All eight NEC teams qualify for the conference tournament, scheduled for April 17-19 in West Windsor, N.J. Teams are seeded based on their regular season performances. In the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll, the Mount was selected sixth, ahead of Wagner and St. Francis Brooklyn. FDU topped the poll with five first-place votes, followed by LIU Brooklyn in second place. Bryant checked in at third, with Sacred Heart and Saint Francis U to follow.

UP NEXT: The Mountaineers wrap up the regular season in Fairfax, Va. with a road match versus George Mason on Sunday, April 12. First serve is slated for 2:15 p.m.
