Emmitsburg, Md. (March 21, 2015) -- The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 victory over UMES at the Mount Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon. The Mountaineers won all three doubles matches and the six singles matches on the day. 

The Mount (6-5) earned the doubles point with three wins in doubles over the Hawks (0-4). At the No. 2 slot, Sruthi Kamprath (Sinking Spring, Pa.) and Cassandra Powell (Viena, W.Va.) paired for an 8-0 victory, while Taylor D'Agostino (Belle Mead, N.J.) and Isabella Draper (West Chester, Pa.) won by the same 8-0 margin at No. 3 doubles. 

In singles action, the Mount won all six matches in straight sets. D'Agostino won her first singles match of the season at the No. 4 position. Sam Barbato (Stockton, N.J.) also earned her first victory of the season at No. 6. 

Next up, the Mount hosts Wagner on March 27.
