Spokane, Wash. (November 21, 2015)—The Mount St. Mary's University men's basketball team put forth a spirited effort in a 101-56 loss at No. 10 Gonzaga on Saturday night.  Junior guard BK Ashe (Washington, D.C.) led the Mountaineers with 16 points.

Will Miller (Dallas, Texas) added 13 points with Khalid Nwandu (York, Pa.) chipping in nine points and five rebounds.  Elijah Long (Mississauga, Ont.) added a solid game with six points and five rebounds.

Silas Melson and Domantas Sabonis led the Bulldogs with 15 points each.

Up next, the Mountaineers travel to Elon for a Thanksgiving Day matchup on Nov. 26.  Tip-off is set for 2:00 pm.

Game Notes:  This game is part of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament…The Mount will compete in the subregional held at Elon on Nov. 26-27 with Elon, Furman and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
