MOUNT UPDATE: After a three-game homestand, the Mount St. Mary's women's soccer team begins a three-game road trip with a visit to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on Patriot League opponent Bucknell on Tuesday night.

LAST TIME OUT: Despite a season-high eight shots, the Mount dropped a 2-0 decision to Delaware State at home on Sunday. Jordan Fine and Nicole Vallely took two shots apiece to lead the offense, while Rachel Bourne and Vicky Cocozza combined to make four saves in goal for the Mountaineers.

ABOUT BUCKNELL: The Bison, which compiled a 7-9-2 record a year ago, are off to a 2-3 start to 2014 with wins over Monmouth and Robert Morris. Bucknell's offensive attack is led by freshman Jackie Ham, who has scored a team-high two goals. Ham's sister, Kendall, is one of four players with a single goal to their credit on the year. Bucknell goalkeeper Jessie Ashworth has recorded two shutouts through five games.

LAST SEASON VS. BUCKNELL: In last year's home opener on Aug. 25, the Mount could not overcome goals in both halves by Bucknell in a 2-0 loss. Alicia Mirando led the Mount with four shots on the day, while Rachel Bourne made five saves in the first half. Bucknell scored both goals off corner kicks with Liz Dwornik and Evelyn Nicinski finding the back of the net.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. BUCKNELL: The Mount holds a 1-10-1 all-time record versus Bucknell. Tuesday's meeting marks the seventh-consecutive season the two sides have squared off. The Mount picked up a 3-0 win in 2010 and played to a 0-0 draw in 2011.

MOUNT VS. PATRIOT LEAGUE: Bucknell is the third of five Patriot League schools on the Mount's schedule in 2014. The Mountaineers played American on Aug. 28 and Lehigh on Aug. 31.  Later in the year, the Mount will face Loyola and Navy.

UP NEXT:  The Mount will take part in the Battle of Baltimore. On Friday, Sept. 12, the Mount battles UMBC at Loyola at 5 p.m. before a Sept. 14 showdown with Loyola at Towson.
