Emmitsburg, Md. (March 22, 2014) – The Mount women's tennis team picked up its second win in a row with a 7-0 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday at the Mount Tennis Courts. The Mount won all of the singles and doubles matches on the day for the sweep.

For the Mount (7-7), it was a dominating performance with each flight of doubles and singles finishing in shutouts in favor of the Mountaineers over the Hawks (0-4).

In addition to Samantha Pinchoff and Liz Rossi's No. 1 doubles win by an 8-0 score, sophomore Isabella Draper and freshman Kayla Barrett also teamed up for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles. It was the first career doubles victory for Draper and Barrett.

In singles, the Mount received dominating 6-0, 6-0 wins courtesy of Kelly Smith at No. 1, Erin Benefiel at No. 2, Danielle Nguyen at No. 3 and Jennifer Smith at No. 4.

Next on the schedule, the Mount welcomes Bucknell to the Mount Tennis Courts on Wednesday, March 26, at 3 p.m.
