Emmitsburg, Md. (March 21, 2014) – The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team put on a dominating performance in a 7-0 win over Wagner on Friday at the Mount Tennis Courts. It was the Mount's first Northeast Conference victory of the season.

The Mount (6-7, 1-2 NEC) won all three doubles matches as well as the six singles matches over Wagner (3-4, 1-1 NEC) on the day, marking the second time the Mount has won all nine matches this season.

In doubles play, sisters Kelly Smith and Jennifer Smith combined for their team-leading 10th win at No. 1, while Samantha Pinchoff and Liz Rossi won at No. 2 and Taylor D'Agostino and Erin Benefiel teamed up for a No. 3 doubles win.

All six singles matches finished in the Mount's favor, including five in straight-set fashion. On the day, Rossi (No. 2), Kelly Smith (No. 3), D'Agostino (No. 4) and Benefiel (No. 5) all kept pace with each other for the team lead with nine singles wins on the year.

The Mount hosts UMES tomorrow at the Mount Tennis Courts. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m.
