MOUNT UPDATE: The Mountaineers are looking for another victory this Saturday, Oct. 19, against the Broncs after coming off of a solid 6-1 victory over La Salle. This will be the fourth and final dual match of the women's fall season.
LAST TIME OUT: The last time the Mount hit the courts against La Salle on Oct. 5, the team walked away with a strong 6-1 victory. Some key wins in the match were posted by Liz Rossi at No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-3) and Taylor D'Agostino at No. 4 singles (6-0, 6-2). The Mount also showed up in doubles with a strong win from Samantha Pinchoff and her partner Liz Rossi (8-2).
ABOUT THE BRONCS: The Broncs, led by head coach Ed Torres, will be heading into the match against the Mountaineers with a record of 0-10 this fall. This will also be the last match to conclude the Broncs fall season. The top player for the Rider lineup is junior Alison Nolls who has won two matches against Wagner (6-1, 6-2) and Siena (6-1, 6-1).
LAST TIME VS. THE BRONCS: The Mount won all three doubles matches in convincing fashion before taking all six singles matches in a 7-0 victory on Oct. 21, 2012.

LEADING THE WAY: The Smith sisters at No. 1 doubles, as well as Samantha Pinchoff and Liz Rossi at No. 2 doubles will lead the way in hopes of sealing a 1-0 lead before the start of singles this Saturday. Erin Benefiel, Taylor D'Agostino and Kelly Smith are tied for the team lead with five singles wins this season.
COACHING STAFF: Head Coach Phil Hammond is in his 10th season at the helm for the Mount. In his first nine seasons, Hammond has built both the men's and women's programs into perennial contenders in the Northeast Conference. On the women's side, Hammond's coaching record is 118-84, while putting together an 89-104 mark with the men's team. His assistants are sixth-year coach Bill Holloway and the Mount's all-time leader for singles wins, Mike Salomon, who graduated from the Mount in 2013.
