The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team swept past Coppin
State, 7-0, on Wednesday at the Mount St. Mary's Tennis Courts.
The Mount did not lose a single game in the match.
The Mount swept the doubles matches, winning each of the three
matches by 8-0 scores. Emily Bolchoz and Renee Deane won at No. 1
doubles over Lauretta Mukam and Jennifer Mitchell while Kelly
Conroy and Samantha Pinchoff won at No. 2 doubles over Courtney
Clark and Ashley Bacote. Carly Landini and Emma Haley won at No. 3
over Brittney Wagner and Hafsatu Kamara.
The Mount captured all six singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Bolchoz won at No. 1 singles over Mukam while Pinchoff defeated
Mitchell at No. 2. Conroy swept past Kamara at No. 3 with Landini
cruising past Bacote at No. 4 singles. Haley won at No. 5 and
Deane at No. 6 singles to complete the win.
The Mount returns to action on Friday with a home match against
Loyola.
