Moon Township, Pa. (April 2, 2011)--Mount St. Mary's defeated Robert Morris, 5-1, on Saturday in a Northeast Conference matchup. The Mountaineers improve to 9-7 overall and 2-1 against NEC opponents with the victory.

Emily Bolchoz earned a straight-set win, 6-2, 6-3, over Clarissa Chen at the No. 1 spot in the lineup while Kelly Conroy defeated Samantha Alves, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 3 singles. Carliy Landini posted a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles while Emma Haley's come-from-behind 1-6, 7-5, -76 (7-3) win at No. 5 singles clinched the victory. Renee Deane won 6-7 (2-7), 6-2, 11-9 at No. 6 singles for the Mountaineers.

The Mount hosts Coppin State on Wednesday at 3 pm.
