Haley won in straight sets at No. 5 singles to clinch the match
as Mount St. Mary's defeated Lehigh, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon. The
Mount improves to 5-2 on the year with the win.
Lehigh took two of three doubles matches
to take the early lead by capturing the doubles point. The Mount's

Conroy and Samantha
Pinchoff won at No. 2 doubles, 8-3, over Patricia Muething and
Abby Pearl. Lehigh, however, won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to
secure the point. Taylor Hampshire and Jenai Bilimoria posted an
8-3 win over Emily
Bolchoz and Renee
Deane at No.1 while the Mount's Carly
Landini and Emma
Haley fell to Kathleen Larkin and Jill Sloand, 8-8 (9-7), at
No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Haley provided the
Mount's winning point with a 7-6, (7-5), 6-2 win over Larkin at No.
5 singles. Conroy defeated Muething with ease , 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3
singles. Bolchoz beat Hampshire, 0-6, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 1 singles
as well as Pinchoff taking the match against Bilimoria, 5-7, 6-3,
6-2 at No. 2. Landini fell to Abby Pearl, 6-3, 6-7,(5-7), 2-0 at
the No. 4 spot with Deane falling to Jill Sloand,6-2, 6-7,(0-7),
(10-0) at No. 6.
The Mount returns to action on March 6
with a match against Creighton in Orlando, Fla.
