WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Christina Koerper (Huntingdon Valley,
Pa./Mount St. Joseph Academy) finished 23rd to lead the Mount St.
Mary's women's golf team to an eighth-place standing at the ECAC
Championships on Sunday.
Koerper posted an 83 in the first round and then registered an
81 on Sunday in the final round to post a two-round score of 164,
13 strokes behind the medalist.
Sarah Roe (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) (29th place,
170), Autumn Serruta (Avon, Conn./Avon) (31st place, 171),
Christina Hall (Wall, N.J./Wall) (40th place, 181) and Abbey Fry
(Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) (48th place, 196) also competed in the
event for the Mount.
Penn won the two-round event with a score of 616, 18 strokes
ahead of Albany (634) and Lehigh (634) while Hartford (636) and
Sacred Heart (643) rounded out the top-5 teams. The Mountaineers
posted a 352 in the first round and a 334 in the final round for a
score of 686.
Mount St. Mary's returns to action on Friday at the Rutgers
Inviational.
