Emmitsburg, Md. (October 25, 2009)--Central Connecticut State scored three first half goals en route to a 3-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Sunday afternoon. Mount sophomore Sadie Winship (York, Pa./Eastern York) scored her fifth goal of the game in the loss.

The highlight of the day for the Mount came in the 89th minute of play. Winship, playing in goal due to an injury to staring goalkeeper Alicia Miller (Lititz, Pa./Warwick), buried a free kick from 40 yards out for her fifth goal of the season.

Brittany Jackson touched the ball on the cross, which went to a wide open Crinion, who buried the shot from right in front of the goal.

Jackson scored in the 33rd minute when she took a pass to the middle from Beth Lloyd and beat Mount keeper Miller. Blayney added an assist on the play. Blayney rounded out the scoring just under two minutes later when she converted a Clio Tregear assist for a 3-0 advantage.
