The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team swept Monmouth, 7-0, at the MSM Tennis Courts on Sunday afternoon. The Mount improves to 10-7 on the season with the victory.

In singles action, the Mount won all six matches in straight sets. Katie Muething was a 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) winner over Sarah Ragan at the No. 1 singles spot while Chelsea Johnson improved to 16-1 in dual matches this season with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Ashleigh Johnson at the No. 2 spot. Jen Iosue (No. 3), Whitney Edmonds (No. 4), Ashely Wentzel (No. 5) and Emily Grugan (No. 6) also earned straight-set wins.

The Mount returns to action at Georgetown at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
