Former Mount St. Mary's track & field athlete Natalia Woods joined the staff in September 2021 as the Director of Academics and Student-Athlete Development.
Prior to her time on the Mount's staff, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at The Language & Behavior Center in Silver Spring and as an Administrative Assistant with the Frederick City Police Department. While a student, Hinton served as Confercnces and Special Programs Coordinator during her graduate year and a Phonathon Recepionist for her undergraduate years.
Competing in the hurdles and jumps for track & field, Hinton still holds the school record for the outdoor long jump at a distance of 6.09 meters. She also served as a team captain and ambassador, and was named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll.
Hinton graduated from the Mount in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and in 2018 with a Master of Business Administration.
