Scott Waddell

Waddell is in his first season with the Mount women's soccer program.   He comes to the Mount from Brandeis where he was the Associate Head Coach for the top 25 program.

Waddell most recently he served as the Associate Head Coach for the Brandeis Judges in Waltham, Massachusetts. After being forced to sit out due to pandemic concerns in 2020, the team went 12-5-2 in 2021, cracking the top 25 in Division III soccer polls.
 
Prior to his time at Brandeis, Waddell worked four years for New York University in Manhattan, helping the Violets make the NCAA Tournament in 2018 and posting a top 15 ranking the following year. The two seasons before that saw Waddell coach at NJIT, playing a key role in recruiting players in 2015 and 2016 that went on to earn an 11-5-2 record a couple years later. Between his stops at NYU and Brandeis, he guided two players to achieve All-American status.
 
As a professional, he competed for the Jamaica U20 National Team and sessions with Pulau Penang in Malaysia and Real Mona in Jamaica.
