Mitch Clemons

Mitch Clemons

Mitch Clemons started his tenure as an assistant for strength and conditioning in August 2019. He will oversee training programs for women’s rugby, men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis.

A native of Middletown, Delaware, Clemons worked in a variety of strength and conditioning programs since graduating from Marywood University in 2018. He served as an assistant for University of Delaware during the 2019 spring semester and as an intern for the 2018 fall semester. Clemons also earned experience with the softball team for St. George’s Technical High School, the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club and as a Sport Performance Coach for Slims Sports Complex.

He graduated cum laude from Marywood in Scranton, Pa. as an exercise science major. While there, he was a four year starter as a baseball infielder, and was named team captain in his final season. He was also the recipient of The Randy Huester Scholarship in 2017.

Clemons earned his certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist in January 2019.
