Logan Howlett joined the Mount's Strength & Conditioning staff in 2021, working as the primary coach and developing training programs for several teams while also acting as a nutrition liaison for the team's Nutrition department.Â
Before he worked for Mount St. Mary's, Howlett served as the building manager for the Cordts Center at Frostburg State University while also serving as an intern on their S&C staff. He graduated from Frostburg in 2021 with an Exercise and Sport Science degree and is pursuing a dual concentration degree from California University of Pennsylvania.Â
Certifications include a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association, Certified Strength Coach from the National Council of Strength & Fitness, Certified Personal Trainer (NFPT), Speed & Explosion Specialist (NASE LV .II) and CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross.Â
Howlett has experience in the Competitive Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting and Strongman arenas, competing from 2016-2020. Â
