Jonelle Hook, an Associate Professor in the Department of Math & Computer Science, assumed the role of Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) beginning in July 2023.
In this role, Professor Hook represents Mount St. Mary's and its faculty in the relationship between the NCAA and the institution. The FAR provides leadership in the governance for intercollegiate athletics and provides representation to the president in both academic and student-athlete matters to the athletic department and the school faculty. Playing a strategic role for the school, the FAR ensures the academic integrity of the the program, facilitates institutional control and assists in enhancing the student-athlete experience.
