Wivell returns to her alma mater to begin her first season asthe Director of Compliance in 2008-09.

Wivell, a 2004 graduate of the Mount and a four-yearletterwinner on the softball team, returns to her alma mater afterserving as a law clerk at the USA Medical Research & MaterielCommand for the last five years. Wivell earned her Juris DoctorDegree from the Widener University School of Law in 2008.

"It truly is a privilege to come back home to the Mount," saidWivell. "I have genuinely enjoyed being a part of the Mount St.Mary's community. It has crafted my character, taught me disciplineand instilled in me a sense of commitment to success and hard work.I look forward to being a part of the Mount's bright future."

Wivell garnered All-Northeast Conference second-team honors as adesignated player in 2003 after batting .362 with five runs, 17hits, seven doubles and eight RBI in NEC action. A two-yearcaptain, Wivell left the Mount as the all-time leader in bases onballs (48) and currently sits in third place in the category whileshe also ranks eighth in games played (146) and 10th in doubles(19).
