Mount St. Mary's University

Emily Nield began her tenure as the Mount St. Mary's cheerleading coach in 2023. 

A 2020 graduate of the University of Maryland Global Campus, Nield has over 10 years experience coaching cheerleading, starting as a volunteer and eventually wokring into the competitive and sideline circuits. In high school, she helped lead her high school competitive team to Maryland state competition. 

Nield also holds a nursing degree from Carroll Community College, which was obtained in 2019.
