Mount St. Mary's University

Gerjets is in his second season with the Mount St. Mary's baseball staff.

Gerjets has served the past 10 years coaching in the Maryland Junior College Baseball.  He started at Anne Arundel Community College serving as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.  The last three seasons he has helped lead the Frederick Community College Cougars as an assistant coach to 111 wins, which included two region championship runner-up finishes, one region championship and a district championship runner-up finish.

Before entering the Maryland junior college coaching ranks, Gerjets worked camps and clinics, gave private lessons and served as volunteer coach at his alma mater, South Carroll High School.  He also was an assistant coach at Mount Airy Senior Legion Post 191 where he helped lead them to the American Legion World Series after winning the state, district and region tournaments.

Gerjets is a Mount Airy, Md., native and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management at George Mason University.
