Cullen Moore joined the Mount baseball coaching staff as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the 2022 season.
Moore was a member of Leoni's staff at Marymount and makes the transition to Mount St. Mary's with his head coach. He assisted the Saints for three seasons – two as a graduate assistant and the Director of Pitching and Recruiting Coordinator in 2021. Duties also included practice and game day management, travel administration and overseeing academics and community service.
He took charge of guiding the pitchers as a graduate assistant in 2019, helping the Saints lead the Atlantic East Conference in strikeouts with 314. Two of his pitchers garnered all-conference honors for the efforts. This past season, Moore's athletes logged a 3.77 ERA with 8.59 punchouts per nine innings.
Moore's playing career culminated at Randolph-Macon, where he graduated in 2018. He made 30 appearances, with his one start coming in the 2018 NCAA DIII World Series. Additional coaching experience came as the head coach of the Church Hill Patriots of the Piedmont Collegiate Baseball League.
