Bobby Rudd joined the Mount administration team as the Associate AD for Revenue Generation and Strategic Initiatives in August 2023.
In this role, Rudd oversees the department's external units, including fundraising, sponsorship, ticketing, marketing, promotions, and fan experience with an emphasis on increased revenue generation. He serves as the athletics lead for the Mount Club, organizing, coordinating and directing all phases of policies and procedures, as well as event coordination and record tracking. Rudd also develops and oversees all corporate athletic partnerships, and identifies, solicits and stewards annual and major gift donors as part of the overall strategy fo support financial needs for Mount Athletics.
Alongside development and revenue generation, Rudd supervises marketing initiatives to enhance attendance and fan engagement at athletic events. This position manages and oversees season ticket renewals while actively pursuing new season ticket holders, while also working with logistics of halftime events and entertainment, as well as pregame and in-game hospitality for donors and sponsors.
Rudd, who started at the Mount as a graduate assistant in 2013, served as the Assistant AD for Advancement and Fan Experience at the Mount the six years.
Rudd graduated from St. Mary's College with a degree in economics and international public policy in 2013 and he received his MBA from Mount St. Mary's in 2015. He resides in Frederick with his wife Rebecca and children Susanna and Bobby.
