Anthony Golden is set to begin in first year on the men’slacrosse staff as an Assistant Coach for the 2014season.

A former midfielder for theMount from 2009-13, Golden played in 58 games with 16 starts.During his playing career Golden compiled 30 goals and dished outeight assists.

In 2011, Golden helpedthe Mount capture the first-ever Northeast Conference men’slacrosse championship with seven goals and four assists on a teamthat put together a 9-6 record.

Golden recorded acareer-high 11 goals the following season in 2012 as the Mountfinished as the NEC runner-up. He tallied a hat trick in awin over Wagner that secured an NEC Tournament berth then scoredtwice in an overtime win over Robert Morris in the NEC Semifinals.In his final season in 2013, Golden netted four goals and oneassist.

Golden graduated from theMount with business degree in 2012 and is currently working towardhis MBA at the Mount.
