Andy Vogel became the Assistant Director of Compliance at the Mount in July 2024.
Vogel has spent almost two decades in the field of compliance, which coincided with his role as a wrestling coach for several institutions. He worked at nearby Gettysburg College from 2007-2020 as head coach and assistant athletic director beginning in 2012. Over the past three years, Vogel directed wrestling at Hiram College in Ohio.
He competed at Messiah College outside of Harrisburg, where he was a three-time All-American, national runner-up, and inductee to the school's Hall of Honor.
Vogel is also the founder and webmaster for d3wrestle.com, a site dedicated to covering D3 wrestling. He earned a Bronze Certified Coach certificate from USA Wrestling in 2011.
He graduated from Messiah in 2003 with an engineering degree and earned his Master's degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University.
