2014-15 SEASON: Competed at No. 6 singles and No. 1 doubles with younger sister, Kelly, as a senior… Tied for second on the team with 10 singles victories on the season… Put together records of 10-12 in singles and 6-18 in doubles… Went 8-6 in singles in dual matches, including a 7-5 record at the No. 6 position… Finished with a 3-11 doubles record in dual matches at No. 1 to go with a 3-7 mark in tournaments... Member of the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll.
2013-14 SEASON: Compiled records of 7-8 in singles and 11-16 in doubles as a junior… Paired with younger sister, Kelly Smith, for 11 win, which were the most by a doubles team for the Mount on the year… Posted an 8-13 No. 1 doubles record… Versus NEC opponents in the regular season, went 0-1 in singles and 2-2 in doubles action... NEC Academic Honor Roll honoree.
2012-13 SEASON: Went 11-10 overall and 7-7 in dual matches in singes action...Had a 6-6 record in dual matches at the No. 6 singles position...Also went 6-13 in double play on the year, including a 5-5 mark at No. 3 doubles with Liz Rossi... NEC Academic Honor Roll selection.
2011-12 SEASON: Ramped up her game in the spring, posting an 8-3 record in singles, including a couple match clinching victories... Went 6-5 in doubles in her first year; going 0-2 with Taylor D'Agostino, 5-3 with Liz Rossi, and 1-0 with Samantha Pinchoff... NEC Academic Honor Roll honoree.
HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in tennis for one year in high school… In her only season, she was the Washington State Girl’s Singles Champion… She finished the season 19-0… She also garnered 2008 Sportsmanship Award, Most Valuable Player, Most Inspirational Award, U.S.T.A. Jr. Team Most Valuable Player, and she also won the District Title at Girl’s Single.
PERSONAL: Born July 23, 1993… Has two sisters, Kelly and Megan… Younger sister, Kelly, also plays tennis for the Mount... The daughter of Julie and Greg Smith… Majoring in accounting with minors in business and theology... Recipient of the Thomas Merton Award for the Mount St. Mary's Class of 2015.
