Biography
2013-14 SEASON: Swam in all nine team competitions as a senior… Competed on the 200 free relay team throughout the season, helping the team to a 1:42.91 finish at the NEC Championships… In the 100 breast, posted personal top time of the season versus McDaniel (1:19.23)… Swam the 200 breast five times with the top time coming at the Radford Invitational (2:47.98)… Turned a 2:25.31 time in the 200 IM at the NEC Championships.
2012-13 SEASON: Participated in eight events on the season… Season best time in the 200 breaststroke of 2:47.63 came at the Highlander Invitational (11-17-12)… Posted a personal record for the 200 IM in 2:29.81 at James Madison (12-1-12)… At the Northeast Conference Championships, had a 5:34.64 finish in the 500 freestyle (2-28-13)…
2011-12 SEASON: Turned in a season-best 200 freestyle time of 2:06.02 at the Highlander Invitational (11-18-11)… Checked in at ninth in the Mount’s top-10 list for the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:23.74 at the Northeast Conference Championships (2-22-12)… Also is ninth all-time in the 1,000 freestyle in 11:40.80 at the NEC Championships…
2010-11 SEASON: Placed second in the 400 free (5:07.13) in wins against Manhattan, Saint Peter’s and VMI on Oct. 29, 2010… Finished second in the 200 breast (3:08.56) and third in the 200 free (2:24.88) in wins against Manhattan, Saint Peter’s and VMI on Oct. 30, 2010… Won the 1000 free (11:49.46) against Howard and Loyola on Nov. 13, 2010… Posted second-place standings in the 200 free (2:10.50) and the 200 breast (2:52.30) and finished third in the 400 IM (5:27.21) at St. Francis (N.Y.) on Jan. 30, 2011.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner on the Villa Maria Academy girl's swimming team... Served as team captain in her senior campaign... Helped her team to the Catholic Academy League title... Contributed to four of her school's seven-consecutive District I titles.
PERSONAL: Communications major... The daughter of Karen Ragan and Thomas Shaw... Victoria Ragan Shaw was born on June 25, 1992 in Malvern, Pa.
