Gabi Trainor, a Montgomery County, Maryland native, joined the Mount St. Mary's swimming & diving coaching staff beginning with the 2023-24 season.
Trainor was recently the head coach at James Hubert Blake High School, coaching the Bengals to a 2023 regular season division championship, a conference championship and Blake's first-ever top 12 finish at the State Championship.
As head coach of the Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club's MLK Advanced Seniors Group, Gabi has coached MD State Champions, NCSA/Sectionals/Metros/JO/Junior,Senior Champs/PVS Open qualifiers, and A finalists.
Growing up in the pool, Trainor went on to compete collegiately at the University of Charleston in West Virginia. She lives in Silver Spring with her husband, two kids and black lab.
