Biography
2014-15 SEASON: Appeared in the final three events for the Mount as a sophomore... Made season debut in home meet versus Duquesne, competing in the 200m free, 400m free, 200m IM and as part of the 400m medley relay... At the NEC Championships, participated in the 50 free and 400 IM.
2013-14 SEASON: Swam in all nine team competitions as a freshman… One of the Mount’s top performers in the backstroke… Posted the Mount’s fourth-best time of the season in the 200 backstroke (2:17.36) at the Radford Invitational… Part of the 200 freestyle relay team that posted a 1:40.16 time at the Potomac Relays… Member of 200 medley relay squad that had third best time of the season (1:51.84) versus Howard and Mary Washington… Took seventh in the B finals of the 400 IM (4:55.76) at the NEC Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time letterwinner in swimming at Toms River North… Captain of the swim team as a senior… Coached by Heather Barbalinardo… Crowned Ocean County Champion in the 500 freestyle in 2012 and 2013… Member of the 400 freestyle relay team that won the Ocean County Championship all four years… Also earned three varsity letters in track and field and three in cross country… Four-year member of the honor roll.
PERSONAL: Born July 4, 1995… Daughter of Judy and Richard Baker… Has an older brother, Chris, and a younger sister, Melissa… Majoring in health sciences.
