Mount St. Mary's University

Lance, a USA Rugby Level 300 Coach,  joined the Mount under Coach Farrah Douglas in 2020. 

Connolly's rugby coaching journey began at Wagner College in 1975, with his first experience coaching Women's Rugby at Monmouth (NJ) RFC in 1991 where he also coached the men's teams. Since then, he has coached NY Rugby Club Women and Men, NY Athletic Club Men, Penn State Women and Northern Virginia Women's Rugby (NOVA).  

In 2007 - 2008 he coached the USA Rugby Women's U-20 National Team and has served in Talent Identification (Scout) for the USA Rugby Age Grade and Senior Women's National Teams.  

A graduate of St. John's University (NY), Lance played Club Rugby throughout the US for 30 years.
